An Erotic “Manga/Anime” Story w/o Illustrations
While this story is not from my usual Erotic sub-genre preference, I am a huge fan of the author and his writing style, so I bought the book anyway. I feel that, to be a mature reader, I should try to read and enjoy something in every genre, and I had never read a story from this particular sub genre before, so I thought, “Why not try this author’s take on it?” I trust this author’s writing style and ability to tell a story knowing that, even if I end up hating the storyline, I would still enjoy the reading experience based on the strength of his writing. I didn’t feel like I was risking my book-money, so to speak, as sometimes happens when you buy books outside your normal buying habits. Plus, it was a reasonable price at $2.99, cheaper than a cup of coffee, and a quick and easy read.
So, onto my review...
Of course, the writing is exquisite. It gets five stars for that alone. The storyline was interesting and involved a teacher and her aid (who are actually succubi) and the five students they seduce and feed from — two teen boys, three teen girls. The girls, it turns out, are actually superheroes. I guess the real question in this story is will the girls succeed in vanquishing evil, or will they succumb to the sexual charms of the demons?
Now this is an Erotic story, so the sex scenes are quite graphic and detailed, and also contain elements of forced seduction and “please-no-don’t/okay-fine-yes” intimate coercion that might come off as upsetting/disturbing to some readers. But the evil demons are succubi, so I guess it would be out of character for them to actually respect boundaries and acquire consent before raping and feeding off their victims. Maybe if this were a romance novel, but this story is not, so here is a trigger warning: if reading rape scenes in stories bother you or upset you, please do not buy this book. The author has many other books you can buy and read.
While it played out in my imagination as an anime cartoon as I read along, for my own comfort, I saw these characters as 18 or 19 years-old, seniors in high school or freshmen in college. (Is there detention in college?) The author didn’t give the exact age of the characters, only described the characters as teens, so I went legal adult in my head. I’m American. The author is British, I believe, and age of consent might be 16 or 17 in the UK. I don’t know. (Note: If we stayed true to the manga/anime genre, these characters might be 14 or 15 or 16, but I just can’t process that, so my mind has the characters as older teens rather than younger teens.)
Overall, it was a solid story to me — and is probably a great and exciting and titillating story for those who read this sub-genre. The author is a great writer. If someone asked me who this book was for, I would say this this book is for males between the ages of 17 and 24 who love Sailor Moon. (lol) Openminded females who love sex and manga and/or anime might also enjoy this read.

This is a dark erotic story it’s very different from what I would normally read but still very good.
It’s about how the new teachers in a school are Succubus’s that feed on the school kids. There are three Sailor Scouts who it’s there job to defeat them but to get there what happens to them is dark and erotic.

This was a thrilling, deliciously dark read! Teachers who are succubi preying on some students sent to detention made for a steamy, fast-paced read. I enjoy a good erotic story, and this was an exciting read that drew me right in!

A taboo play on student-teacher fantasies, Buffy the Vampire Slayer action, and Sailor Moon drama, Play Time: Succubus/Futa Teachers Erotica was a lot more fun than I expected - and I went into it with pretty high hopes. Dark Inferno demonstrates as much talent as he does imagination, throwing himself wholly into the concept, no holds barred.
The development of the early scenes are just about perfect, raising our suspicions and intriguing us at the same time. It is clear there is more going on than just two college kids getting lucky, right from the mythological naming of the teacher and her assistant, but the emergence of tails and tentacles is only the start of something more. The arrival of Sailors Knights Stacey, Alice, and Neve is surprise, cheesy dialogue and all, but as erotic as their early defeat may be, it is the revelation of the succubi's futa nature that really makes the story.
The erotica here is as intense as it is dark, full of dubious consent, with the kind of baiting dialogue you would expect from supernatural foes. I wondered how he could possibly resolve it all, but the climax come fast and hard, and pays off.
