About this ebook

Following the popular series debut—NUDES was praised as "passionate, emotional and uplifting" by #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Lauren Blakely—contemporary romance author Sarah Robinson weaves a new standalone story where a second chance at romance is found on a Hollywood film set and secrets always have a way of being…exposed.

Reed Scott is the hottest actor in LA…Being a Hollywood heartthrob has its perks, and I've damn sure enjoyed every one of them, both on and off the silver screen. The tabloids loved every second of exploiting my privacy, chronicling my mistakes in ink for the whole world to see. Accepting the lead role in a romantic dance film was guaranteed to make me a box office hit and help me rewrite my image, until the choreographer hired to train me turned out to be the only woman I'd ever loved and lost.

As beautiful and enticing as ever, Tegan walks in and reminds me of the worst mistake I've ever made. She should hate me, and now she has the power to destroy everything I am.

Tegan Reynolds is picking up the pieces…
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…never going to happen. I fell in love with Reed Scott once and it nearly killed me—literally. The last thing I want to do now is teach him how to dance, but I need this job and there's no way I'm letting him take yet another thing away from me.

Reed is in my world now, and this time we're dancing by my rules.

BARE is the second instalment in Sarah Robinson’s contemporary adult NUDES erotic, romance series focusing on three sisters-Aria, Teagan and Simone. This is dancer and choreographer Teagan Reynolds, and actor Reed Scott’s story line. BARE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Told from dual third person perspectives (Teagan and Reed) BARE is a second chance story line between college sweethearts- dancer and choreographer Teagan Reynolds, and actor Reed Scott. Eight years earlier, on the day of their wedding, Reed Scott left a humiliated Teagan at the altar. Fast forward to present day wherein Teagan, a former dancer whose life was all but destroyed the day Reed walked out of her life, is currently the hired choreographer for Reed’s latest movie role. What ensues is the rebuilding relationship, friendship and romance between Teagan and Reed, and the potential fall-out as their dual careers begin to pull them apart. The relationship between Teagan and Reed is one of second chances. Teagan’s love for Reed is masked by her hatred and the humiliation on the wedding day that never was, a day that all but ruined her career and destroyed her life. Reed had no idea the damaged caused on that fateful day but eight years later our hero is desperate to renew his relationship in the hopes of a happily ever after. Reed’s manwh*re reputation precedes his reintroduction to our story line heroine, a reputation Reed and his manager are working to overcome. The $ex scenes are erotic, intimate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. Both of Teagan’s sisters play secondary and supporting roles as well as Aria’s husband Ben Lawson (Nudes #1) and their daughter Tillie, Teagan, Aria and Simone’s parents; Reed’s agent Jason Allen; and Reed’s co-star Elena Stravinsky who pushes a little too hard at trying to seduce our story line hero. BARE is a story of second chances; of betrayal and forgiveness; of romance, love and happily ever after. The premise is entertaining and edgy; the romance is a back and forth, push and pull between two people whose love for one another has never died but struggles in the face of past sins; the characters are spirited and energetic. BARE is a passionate tale love, betrayal and loss.

Bare is the first book I've read by Sarah Robinson, but definitely won't be the last. I absolutely adored her voice and her characters in Bare. Reed Scott and Teagan Reynolds had some pretty amazing chemistry from the moment they saw each other again. I honestly have to give Teagan so much credit for not punching Reed in the face the first time she saw him again years after he literally left her at the alter on the day of their wedding. Teagan was so very professional as she started working with Reed on the set to make sure his part in the movie was a success. Yes they were both still insanely attracted to one another, and just them dancing together was really like foreplay. I loved that Reed realized as soon as he saw Teagan again how huge a mistake he had made all those years ago. Yes he did it so she didn't have to give up a major roll in theater, but he did so without talking to Teagan first. While Reed's road to stardom started right after they wedding debacle, Teagan was in a wreck that took her years to recover from and truly could have ending her career in dance forever. Again, Teagan really surprised me by not blaming Reed for the accident even though I honestly felt like he was partly to blame. She busted her ass to first relearn how to walk and then dance. Teagan's spirit was one of my favorite things about her. I totally could understand why Reed still loved her all these years later. I had mentioned how strong Reed and Teagan's chemistry was and when they finally made love again, I swear my kindle screen fogged up a few times. I honestly found myself falling in love with them as a couple right along with them falling in love again. I knew something would come up to be a stumbling block to their happiness and wasn't surprised when Reed messed up once again. He might be a great actor and strong person overall, but he really seemed to be a bit too self absorbed at times. Honestly that was really my only problem with the main characters in the story. I wanted Reed to have grown up and started acting like an adult at all times and yet he fell back into old habits rather than talking about what had happened. Bare was a really fast read for me. I was so connected to the characters; I pretty much read any moment I had free time. I love when a group of characters pull me in and make me want more. As Bare is the second book in the Exposed series, I already plan to go back and read the first book before the final book is released. I honestly think romance readers who enjoy sexy emotional reads should totally give Bare a try. Rating: 4 Stars (B) Review copy provided by publisher

This book can be read as a standalone and not necessary to read book one, but you'll be missing out on one hell of a story if you don't. On to Bare. Reed is another Hollywood bad boy who needs to clean up his image quickly, due to start shooting his next big film, his face plastered over all the tabloids and magazines in some very unflattering but truthful ways. He's having a meeting with his agent who tells him he needs to get himself together. Which he promises to try. His latest film revolves around dancing and arriving on the set the director introduces him to his choreographer and instructor. Teagen, the woman he left at the altar 8 years ago. He left her at the altar to take a movie role. She's none to happy. There's some serious animosity here and I don't blame her. But she's decided to leave it alone. It's her job she need to focus on. He wants to talk about their past. She doesn't. What he doesn't know if that along with being left at the altar that day ended her career as a promising rising star. She manages to do her job throughout the story, we see her sister Aria again from Book One and her younger sister Simone. There are some twists and turns in this one, once their cards were on the table things became a little better between them. Reed is still hot on Teagen's tail. Honestly, it was hard for me to see how she really felt about that. On the surface yes, below that not so much, he wasn't that much easier. You just have to keep reading. The book is written flawlessly as usual by Sarah, her characters are multi-dimensional and have depth. The plot line was great and the book flowed really well. The emotions are there. It's yet another must read from Sarah. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. 4.5 stars *advanced copy from NetGalley and Publisher for an honest review.
