Tripping on a Halo

Rate this book
It’s really hard to save a guy’s life when he keeps running from you.

You might be asking yourself why I’m waving an inflatable penis in the air and screaming at the top of my lungs. If I took time to explain, Declan Moss would get hit by a bus.

Let me back up. I didn’t ask for this. I was perfectly happy—and perfectly sane—before I was tasked with keeping Declan Moss alive. It was a thankless job until the moment that my panties dropped and his delicious smirk found his way in between my thighs.

Hello, toe-curling ecstasy. Goodbye, professional boundaries. And suddenly, there’s a new danger to avoid: the falling of my heart.

I love all things Alessandra, but for some reason, this one wasn't working for me. I just couldn't connect, and after getting almost to the half way point and still not being pulled in, I'm calling it quits. Could be me, could be the timing of reading the book, either way- decide for yourself!

➽ KITTY KATS CRAZY ABOUT BOOKS

TRIPPING ON A HALO: Is a standalone romance novel by author Alessandra Torre. In this we meet unsuspecting Declan & looney tunes Autumn.

The very first chapter had me in giggles, what a unique, pull you in as soon as you start reading way to start off ‘Tripping on a halo’ Autumn puts my stalking skills to shame, her stalking is so on point and poor Declan has nowhere to hide. She doesn't even fear the fact that he could put a restraining order on her, because surely he wouldn't if she's never uttered a word to him?

From where he lives, to where he works, to where he buys his lunch, to the gym he frequents, his soft ball games, to yes she stooped to even going through his trash, Autumn has no limits!!

giphy

“ You're going to think I'm crazy. ”
“ I hate to break it to you, but that boat sailed a long time ago. ”
“ It's okay. My sister thinks I'm crazy too. ”

But what Declan doesn’t know is that she’s trying to save him, not harm him..But what happens when the tables are turned and he finds out her name, her address.

“ She was perfect.
Soft and beautiful.
Delicate yet strong.
Feminine. Irresistible.
And...Crazy, he reminded himself.
Batshit crazy. ”

What wasn't there to love about this book, god where to even start, I read this in one sitting, couldn't put it down, didn't want to put it down, there is nothing I would change about this book, I loved every single minute of it, the giggles, the swooning, the feels, definitely a book which I highly recommend. I went into this blind and came out of it full with love.
Take my word for it, this is a book you must have in your collection!! One click is a must!!

Autumn has recently lost her mother and she has a weird head pain that leads her to know that she must keep Declan Moss safe. She is his guardian angel after all.

Does she know him? No Does that stop her? Also no..
Declan? He does notice Autumn following him. Especially after she steals his garbage.

He wavers on the thoughts of getting a restraining order...then he looks at her facebook profile. The girl has a pig!

Surely no one that has a pig is a real threat? *cough cough*

This book is just pure fun. It's fluffy, made me laugh and the sexuals had me saying....

Actual surveillance footage of what I looked like while reading this book . . . . .

Meet Autumn. Six months ago she was struck with a feeling and pulled off some divine intervention that ended up saving Declan’s life. Ever since she’s sorta been stalking keeping an eye on him in order to make sure no danger comes his way. Pretty much she’s his self-declared guardian angel. A chance encounter brings the duo face-to-face and Autumn learns that . . . .

Or, in this case an “O Face” ; )

I first discovered this author courtesy of a stabby little agoraphobe who lived in a placed known as 6E. Later my mind was pretty much blown when I realized Moonshot wasn’t only a potential candidate for the OhHowILoveClaytonKershaw spankbank, but by the same author. Talk about a switcheroo! AND THEN! Then she melted my underdrawers clean off with Sex Love Repeat. Whew! Just thinking about that one . . .

Where was I? Oh yeah, I was at the point where I was a megafan so as soon as I saw this title (and most adorable cover ever, amIrightoramIright?) I had a mighty need. My wish was granted 48 hours before release and I since I was left to my own devices for a few hours last night before resuming my chauffeuring and maid services for my children I was able to read this whole thing in about a hot second. So now all of you only have to wait ONE MORE SLEEP until you can get it! And you need to get it. I mean, if you are like me and are looking for an escape during this hectic time of year in the form of a funny romance with loveable characters and smexy smexytimes and even maybe a couple of feelz thrown in for good measure.

All the Starz.

Declan Moss is a gorgeous architect who lives in Tallahassee, Florida. He has a great life except for the creepy, blonde stalker he can’t seem to shake. Between multiple attempts to see him at his office, odd outbursts, and showing up all over town he was convinced she was a lunatic who had serious boundary issues. When she begins to step up her game he becomes more alarmed than flattered.

Autumn Jones is a quirky, beautiful woman who has an obsession with cupcakes, scrapbooking, her pet pig, and Declan Moss. She was plagued by worry over this stranger, and feared something terrible was going to happen to him. She felt it was her job to protect him, and his safety and well being had become her top priority. She viewed herself as his guardian angel, and vowed to keep him from harm.

Six months go by until Declan and Autumn finally come face to face. Up close Declan is blinded by her beauty. He’d never met a woman this awkward and adorable, but also sexy as hell. Sparks fly and soon the fascination is mutual. Could fate or the universe be pushing them together? As their chemistry ignites Declan finds himself wanting to spend more time with Autumn, and Autumn can’t resist swooning over this delicious man and his irresistible smiles. He’s become her kryptonite, and now she wonders if she could be the one in danger as he’s slowly stealing her heart piece by piece.

I loved this sweet, fun, unique book! It’s a hilarious romantic comedy that will have you smiling, and laughing out loud. It’s just so darn cute! One of my favorites by Alessandra Torre! 💙

-“You’re addicting, you know that?”

-He’d never seen someone care about him so... intently.

-She was... just... everything.

-When his eyes met mine I wanted to sink into them and never come up for air. He was so beautiful.

-It had been a long time since I’d been touched like that. Looked at like that.

HA!!!

That was the first thing that popped out of my mouth when I read the first sentence. Hilarious, witty, refreshing, with a touch of sexiness that had you craving more. Tripping On A Halo was the perfect comedic release that I was looking for and I’m so glad that I was introduced to these funny lovable characters.

Autumn is a girl who some would say that her screws aren’t really tightened enough. She’s a bit looney but she has a perfectly good explanation for being that way and no one is going to make her see differently. At least right now anyway. Hell bent on saving a man she thinks needs saving, Autumn inserts herself into his life in a not so casual way and from that moment, all hell breaks loose. Dogs and pigs included.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Its been a rough few months for Declan in his personal life and the only that he wants right now, is make his professional life better. Close to achieving that goal, Declan is within arms reach without any distractions and he knows that if he focuses hard enough, he’ll be able to get it. But there is something lurking in his background every time he makes a move. Or should I say someone….

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Will Declan be able to escape the crazy, or will something meaningful come out of these two finding each other?

I really loved this heroine! She was assertive, strong willed, smart, and little bit crazy but those were her best qualities. I liked that this author switched it up by throwing a little wrench in their road crazyville and made me fall in love with Declan even more.

If you’re looking for a funny laugh out loud lighthearted read, then this one is for you.

A "sweet" romantic comedy from a multi talented writer. She really can tackle any romance genre and bring her own unexpected twist to it.
Case in point the ending..she give us hints along the way but it was still an unexpected way to go with this "stalkerish" and amusing storyline.
Autumn and Declan were both entertaining characters for me and throw in a semi-domesticated pig and you've totally got me!!

Why didn't anyone tell me that Alessandra Torre wrote romantic comedy? Tripping on a Halo was a book that sparkled and had me busting a gut right to the end.

Autumn - this girl was a riot! Although she annoyed me with her refusal to see what was literally in front of her face and how she kept trying to push the hero away when she was obviously attracted to him, somehow her other qualities worked. She was incredibly awkward and delusional. She was a stalker who thought she was a guardian angel. She was absolutely nuts but it worked in her favor.

Declan - this man was funny too! He was stoic without being too uptight. He was honest and open and there wasn't any way people wouldn't like him. I LOVED him! I did think that he was almost as crazy as Autumn because even though he knew she was stalking him, after she gave him her cockamamie excuse, he was on board. What?!

So yeah, to truly enjoy this story, I think you really need to suspend your realistic beliefs because this story is very unrealistic. However, it was funny as heck and each encounter with these characters was hilarious. I especially enjoyed watching these two navigate their way to a happy ending. I do wish there was more to their romance and I think the pig was an extraneous element, but in the end, this romcom was lovely and I hope to read more of this from the author in the future.

4.5 'Guardian angel' Stars!
ARC provided by the author via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I've probably described with this word every single release I've read by Alessandra Torre but it doesn't make it any less true: unique. This woman always surprises with her originality and the surprises and twists you do not expect that make story even a more amazing experience. Can you tell how much I enjoyed this book? Well done, Alessandra!

So, Tripping on a Halo is this author’s newest standalone release and if you have read Alessandra’s books before, this one has a similar feel to Love, Chloe. This is on the lighter, romcom side of Alessandra’s works. This is the story of Autumn Jones, a very peculiar woman who believes is the guardian angel of hot architect Declan Moss. However, Declan is not feeling it, he thinks Autumn is stalking him (which is understandable lol). Of course, everything changes when they actually meet in person and sparks start flying.

“I don’t know what I told you last night, after whatever voodoo magic your body unleashed, but I’m not having a bodyguard. And I’m not sharing my schedule or notifying you of travel arrangements.”

Oh God, this novel was so quirky and so freaking entertaining! Autumn is such an unusual heroine and that is what makes Tripping on a Halo a great read. She is kind of obsessed with protecting Declan and she uses the most hilarious ways to do it. Declan, during one of those ways, discovers who his “stalker” is and everything gets even better when they meet. Yes, Autumn continues with her priority of saving Declan from harm but that also gets mixed with the off-the-charts chemistry between them.

In that moment, I didn’t want to protect Declan Moss. I wanted him to want me. To take my heart as his own. I wanted to feel, and be unafraid, and to trust in him to protect me.

Declan is decided to seduce her and he will succeed no matter what. An unconventional love story starts and the rest is history! This story is also unique because of the surprises and twist Alessandra throws along the way. I mean, Autumn has an adorable pig as a pet called Mr. Oinks! And the story even has time to make us emotional with everything that happens towards the end.. I am not spoiling anything because it’s what makes this story so especial. And I absolutely loved the ending!

She had saved him. She had created them. She had wormed her way into his life, and then his heart, and broken him open in a hundred different ways. Gave him love and chaos and color in a world that had always been precise angles of gray.

Therefore, my rating for Tripping on a Halo is 4.5 STARS because Alessandra, again, has this unique writing that kept me hooked to this story and its exotic characters. I loved Autumn and Declan together, they were hilarious, quirky and oh-so-sexy! I also loved all the feels towards the end. So yeah, if you are into romcoms and you enjoy Alessandra Torre’s fantastic writing style and characters, be sure to check this novel out!

Spoiler contains my spin on the book synopsis:

I found Tripping on a Halo to be a unique plotline filled with all sorts of crazy sweetness, surprising emotion, sexy moments, and an intended twist I did see coming unfortunately. The storyline makes room for family, friends, bodyguards, hunting trips, and even a flatulating pet pig. Definitely a fun and quick read that fans of Alessandra Torre will be sure to enjoy. What a fun book! Autumn believes she's a guardian angel to one man. Declan Moss. Declan believes he has a stalker. Declan's best friend slash business partner thinks he's just paranoid. Autumn’s sister and shrink thinks this is her way of mourning her mothers loss. All of that combined made for one comedic story that will also really pull at your heart strings.

Autumn was such a fun character. She's quirky, fun and isn't afraid to do anything. She has a pet pig, wears Wonder Woman t-shirts, creates dog scrapbooks for an elderly neighbor and takes the protection of a practical stranger to new heights.

Declan is an architect who started his own firm with his best friend. He's all business and a touch OCD with cleaning. He recently broke up with his cheating girlfriend who he thought he would marry someday. No one has sparked his interest since. The last person he ever expected to be attracted to was his stalker.

I really enjoyed this book. I'm such a fan of quirky characters and Autumn was so fun to read about. While Declan was more straight-laced, his reactions to her added to my overall enjoyment of this couple. As much fun as I had with this book, it also had emotional moments. This was pretty much the total package!

Spoiler, spoiler, spoiler, spoiler, spoilers:

Literally the most mashed up story I’ve read.

First 50% was incredibly boring. She’s a creepy stalker of his, invented a fake Facebook profile and befriended him, sorts through his trash, because she believes she’s his guardian angel after saving his life six months ago. What girl does that to a geeza?

They finally MEET and he is aware that she’s his stalker. Idg why he has random sex with the h and she’s not very responsible either despite the attraction. They spend a week together. We find out that her obsession is because she’s actually ill. She goes into a coma. And he’s faithful for the WHOLE 8 months despite the fact they’re not actually in a relationship until she wakes up. Visits her, falls in love with her unconscious. Weird but another star for that.

Safety: I mean on the very day she saves him 6 months ago was the day he broke up with his ex. Been celibate since/no kissing. He’s had 3 gfs. She last she was with someone 8 months ago. First 50% he ponders sexually about his ex and the OW he goes on a date with and calls the “h” a crazy bitch.

4 “Charming” Stars

This was a super sweet, lighthearted, different kind of rom-com read. A quirky heroine who is obsessive to a fault but is kindly sincere and a sexy hero who doesn’t know what to think about this crazy heroine.

I love that this story is different in its sweetness. Autumn is a woman who is adorable yet slightly broken hearted. And her thinking she is a sort of guardian angle is endearing. Declan is going about living his life except he has a stalker, until he finds out why. The journey of Autumn and Declan is quirky, obsessive, sad, different and sweet. There are time when you smile, times when you are sad, times when you roll your eyes and times when you love. The plot is very different and unique. The lightheartedness and ease of these two characters are adorable and the secondary characters add fun and a delightful sass.

There is a slight interesting twist in the book. It didn’t surprise me but it did make me question her family. But as with lovely rom-coms, there is a HEA. Autumn and Declan are a sweet couple who have a great chemistry and while she might not have been a real guardian angel, I do think it was devine intervention that lead these two together.

So unique! And fun! I seriously had the best time while reading this book. I laughed out loud more than a few times. There was one moment in the book...it was funny but in a delayed reaction kind of way...like you didn’t realize how funny it was until a few seconds passes. I laughed so hard I got hiccups.

This is a super cute read and I’m so happy to say that Alessandra Torre does a fabulous job with romantic comedy🙌🏽

Ok, so let me just preface this by telling you that rom coms are not really my thing. I like sarcasm and witty banter that give me a chuckle from time to time but outright silliness in my romance is just not my jam. So maybe that's why this book wasn't my favorite. I'm sure it's a big fat cliche' to say this, but it's probably not the book, it's probably just me.

I read this book rather quickly, devouring it in a day. I was into it, I thought it was cute, I thought Alessandra Torre's writing was sharp. I was intrigued by the bizarre events that began to unfold straight away. But I never felt fully invested in the storyline or the characters the way I ALWAYS have in Torre's previous books. Declan Moss was charming and sexy and I really liked him a lot. Autumn Jones, while cute and adorably awkward, had me perplexed. I couldn't figure out quite what was happening for a while there, unsure if this was some kind of PNR supernatural thing or if the story would eventually become more clear as things evolved. Well, things did come together eventually but in my anticipation of those answers, I just found it odd. I thought some of Autumn's antics were OTT, silly more than funny, and I just struggled with connecting to the book because of it.

Alessandra Torre remains one of my favorite authors of all time and I think this book will be quite the hit for readers who know and appreciate that Torre is an author without limits. She writes anything and everything and she nails it, which is why I drop everything and read her stories EVERY SINGLE TIME. While this book wasn't my favorite from this author, it was a cute, light romance with some unexpected weight late in the game. I'm just not really a rom com fan and the humor in this book evaded me. Like I said, it's a classic case of "it's not you, it's me" and I'm certain that readers who enjoy some OTT humor and silly antics in their love stories will really enjoy this one. I absolutely recommend giving it a whirl and deciding for yourself!

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Quirky, fun, and laugh out loud funny

I loved, loved, loved this book! Tripping on a Halo has all the right pieces for the perfect romantic comedy. It's also original, fun, and a true breath of fresh air. Alessandra Torre has written a book that I won't be forgetting and I know that so many people are going to fall in love with these two.

What would you do if someone was constantly following you? And I'n not talking about the run of the mill stalker. I'm talking about a blond chick who waves an inflatable penis and yells out about purple people eaters! Most would say this is outrageous. I tend to agree. But when you get down to the nitty gritty and see that she's simply trying to save your life, then it's hard not to find it cute. This my friends, is what Tripping on a Halo is all about. A woman who THINKS she is the guardian angels of a pretty good looking architect who will stop at nothing to save his life. Thankfully, Declan doesn't think shes too crazy though because he can't stop thinking about her... What will become of these two? Will they both go bonkers over her meddling? Or will something a bit more romantic happen? You will have to read and find out!

Not only does this book have all the elements of a great romantic comedy, but there is a bit of a twist at the end! I saw it coming from a mile away, but I didn't know HOW the author was going to take it so it was still surprising to me as a reader. In all actuality, I was gripping the pages to see which direction the author was going to go and I got a little worried- I was, after all, very invested in these characters. But don't be worried because I think many readers will LOVE IT.

I highly recommend this one. Seriously, it's a fun and original read and should be on everyone's TBR this year (and even next!).

Hottie Architect Declan has a stalker.
Yup. He doesn't know how else to describe/explain the pretty blonde crazy girl who keeps showing up all the time. He sees her everywhere. Should he be scared to be killed soon? Or is it all really harmless?

Autmn - the 'stalker' - is not really a stalker, but a guardian angel. At least that's what she thinks. Her sister thinks she's a tiny little bit crazy. But she's not - she knows something bad is about to happen to Declan and she has to save him!

What will happen with Autumn and Decland?
Will there be a HEA? Will everybody survive?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT!☺

Adorable!

Such a fun book!

I was a tiny bit scared to get started with this story. I was afraid of getting some crazy religious kind of thing, but it wasn't that at all.

It was a mega funny and adorable romance.

A sexy architect guy plus a hilarious stalker guardian angel with a pet pig.

This book HAS to be on Netflix asap!!!

It was so cute and crazy and a bit heartbreaking.

We have inflatable male appendages, a cute little farting pig, trash stealing, scrap-booking, skeet-killing ... lots of amazingly adorable moments.

But we're also asking ourselves ... what is wrong with Autumn? Is there some 'heavenly' thing happening or does she have a brain tumor? And I really hope it's neither of those things.
She needs to be alive to get her happily ever after and she's also not getting her trust fund in two years if her therapist thinks she's crazy. ☺

I loved reading this story and I'm gonna be checking Netflix daily now!!!!

TRIPPING ON A HALO was such a fun & adorable love story. Run to your nearest amazon for your own sexy architect - Declan is mine!!

𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐨 by the incredible Alessandra Torre is a steamy, sweet, hilarious, and quirky romance that was next to impossible to put down. It has an emotional kick that had my head and my heart craving for a happily ever after. When this author gives us something on the lighter side, my heart soars and I only want more and more. With equal parts passion and hilarity, you couldn’t have asked for something better. Autumn and Declan were so adorable. Their interactions, although sometimes (most of the time) were kind of awkward and flirty, I couldn’t look away from the pages, not even for a minute. When the scenes got steamy…THEY GOT STEAMY, my friends! So freaking good! When the scenes got serious and emotional, I had a hard time holding back tears, but with Torre’s fast-paced storytelling and excellent writing, I didn’t have to wait long before the biggest smile was back on my face. If you’re looking for an unputdownable, charming, touching, and original romantic comedy, you came to the right place. You’re going to fall head over heels for these two!

Ok, I can’t help myself. I have to share another quote with you just so you realize how incredibly cute these two are together! You. Are. Welcome.

I've had this book since the first review by a trusted gr friend but never read it. I want to go back and smack myself silly. This book was everything I hope for in a romance especially with a bit of comedy attached. The first part was cute and funny, the middle sexy and sweet and the ending tear jerking, sweet and lovely. My emotions were all over evidently and I really, really enjoyed this one. The h was quirky and funny, I loved her relationship with her family and her pet pig. The H was a surprise for me, I usually like my guys of the grunting Alpha variety but he was a sweetheart. I'd have liked for them to have more time together before the incident but all in all I'm satisfied enough.

A bit of OW drama as his ex came up a few times but it had no bearing on the h/H
They both date OP but no hanky panky involved, at the time he thought she was a crazy stalker

I'm hopeful that this author has other safe reads because I'm riding on the high of this one and am ever hopeful for more of the same.

"You're going to think I'm crazy."
"I hate to break it to you, but that boat sailed a long time ago."

The author dropped me right in the middle of Crazy Town in the first chapter and I found myself struggling to wrap my head around the situation. That didn't stop me from giggling at the visual of the inflatable penis Declan's guardian angel was waving around. I'm not averse to a little cray-cray, or even a lot, in this case.

What was especially funny was that Declan didn't know she was trying to protect him. As the tale unfolds the stalker and stalkee found themselves focused on each other, and not just on his safety. It was fun watching him forced to face his attraction to her, not knowing whether to take her to bed or to jail.

I really enjoyed this sweet, sexy, silly and sometimes serious story. It tugged on my funny bone and pulled my heartstrings. The support characters were also full of personality and my favorite one doesn't even speak English.

Alessandra Torre is a favorite author on my auto-click list, so I'm willing to follow her into whatever theme or genre she decides to tackle and I'm never disappointed.

*3.5 stars!

My heart!

I've missed Alessandra's story-telling, and let me tell you, this was the rom-com/unexpectedness of my dreams! I laughed, I swooned, I cringed, I was *shook*. I've never felt so many emotions while reading a book as I did with this one. I was just living for this book!

What starts off as an awkward, stalker/guardian-angel type of book turned out to be one of my favorite reads of the year and don't mind me, but I'll be swooning still all over Declan. That sweet, sweet man. And my heart only grows for Autumn and how damn amazing she is in general!

If you're looking for a quick-paced romance with a lot of laughs, a bit of heat, and a whole lot of heart-wrenching emotions, this is your book!

I am OBSESSED! Alessandra Torre has pulled out all the stops and gave us the perfect romance read packed with so much heart and heat and humor in Tripping on a Halo! Seriously, the entire time, I was either sputtering and laughing my butt off, swooning and melting my heart out, or just sighing blissful sighs and falling further down the Declan Moss hole. And then at one point, she goes and drops a bomb you wouldn’t see coming. One that will make you stop breathing. Stop thinking. And just... feel. Feel your heart thumping. Your brain short circuiting. Your jaw dropping. And all of a sudden, it’s like the rug is pulled out from under you.

What normal, slightly drunk, sexually deprived woman would be able to resist Declan Moss with bedroom eyes, shirt sleeves rolled up, massaging her feet? No woman. NONE.

I fell so hard for Declan Moss and Autumn Jones. They might not have the most conventional of meet cutes, but it’s definitely one of the most unforgettable ones I’ve ever read. Together, they were explosive and purely magnetic—their chemistry was just radiating off every word, and the emotions pouring out of every line you read. They’ll make you into their biggest cheerleader before you even hit the halfway mark. And you’ll be so engrossed in the story that the next thing you know, you’ve devoured the book in record time. Trust me, their relationship—and the way it progressed—was nothing but precious and gripping. It’s one that pierces your heart. One that you’ll undoubtedly remember even years from now.

“I came here to keep you safe, not to bounce around on your penis,” she said plaintively, and he couldn’t stop the laugh that fell out of him.

It’s not so often that I find a book where I was completely in the moment from start to finish, every step of the way. Declan and Autumn’s story didn’t just roll out in my head so vividly the whole time. No, I actually felt like I was there—like I was a bystander watching everything play out between them with every page I turned. And it was phenomenal. It made my heart so full and happy and just plain sated. Reading Tripping on a Halo was truly an incredible experience. If you’re looking for a book to read before the year ends, make it this one. You won’t be disappointed.

***5 Stars***

After reading the blurb, hell not even the entire blurb, just the first two sentences and I was all in, because how can you not want to read a book where the heroine has the opportunity to wave an inflatable penis around? You can’t. You. Just. Can’t. So I dove in and I was hooked from the first sentence. This book is all kinds of quirky, sweet and smexy romcom goodness with huge dose of heart that kept me turning the pages until the very end.

Autumn is, aside from being a Guardian Angel, unique, quirky, adorkable and comfortable in her own skin. She has a personality that makes you sit up and take notice and a heart so golden that it pulls you in. Declan is a good man. He’s charming and sweet and has a sneaky sort of charm that intrigues and tantalizes.

Autumn and Declan’s journey is definitely a unique one, understatement, but true, and absolutely entertaining on all levels. From the moment they collided everything that happened between them was unexpected and fun and watching as they spent more time together and became more was all kinds of fun and heartwarming. The smexy was hawt and the bantering between them was highly entertaining. The angst was thankfully low, but they do have quite an obstacle to work through, but it was totally worth it in the end!

This was, hands down, a fun read. The angst was low, but there were moments that kept things interesting. The little twist thrown in was well executed and I loved how it all played out. As for the secondary cast of characters ~ I adored Ansley, she was a lot of fun and I’m hoping we get a little more of Nate in the future and I loved Mr. Oinks. So, if you’re looking for a fun and quirky read, then this is a definitely must read for you!
