Back to You is book one in a brand new series, Remington Medical, by Kimberly Kincaid. I have long been a big fan of all things Kimberly and have been so excited to see what this new series is all about. I can’t wait to tell you about it.

emergency department

Charleston (Charlie) Becker is a successful surgeon at Nashville General Hospital. Charlie’s life revolves around her work and that’s about it. She has accumulated all kinds of vacation time so when her best friend, Tess, who is nearly ready to have a baby and is also a surgeon at Remington Memorial Hospital in North Carolina needs Charlie to fill in for her for ten weeks while she is out on maternity leave, she can't say no. It’s been six years since Charlie stepped foot into Remington Memorial. Six years since her life fell apart and she moved to Nashville to try to put it all back together again.

sexy doctors

Six years ago, Parker Drake was so close to fulfilling his dream of becoming a doctor when he began his internship at Remington Memorial. But everything fell apart and Parker left the program and became a paramedic which he has loved. He has a reputation of being a wild card, though, of breaking the rules when it suits him. Even though he loves his job, his dream was always lurking in the back of his mind. He has decided once and for all that he is going to do what he knows he is destined to do and Remington Memorial has agreed to give him one more chance. Only on his very first day, the doctor standing in front of him, one of several that he will be assigned to, is the woman he never thought he’d see again, that he hasn’t seen in six years, his Charlie.

love

Six years they haven’t seen each other or spoken. Now they are forced to face each other and finally deal with the past they share. That connection, that chemistry, is still there between them and it doesn’t take long for it to spark back to life. When truths are shared, they realize that they were both at fault for what happened. Forgiveness is a beautiful thing.

“She might want him, but he craved her. And this time, he wasn’t going to let her go.”

Parker and Charlie find the same comfort, that same amazing thing that they had six years ago, is still there. Maybe even better this time since they are both older and more mature. But, if Dr. Langston, the chief at the hospital, found out what was going on between them, Charlie would get fired and let her friend Tess down, and Parker would lose his one and only chance of becoming a doctor. So they had to keep it a secret. Not to mention the fact that Charlie is only at Remington for the duration of Tess’s leave. Then she has to return to her job at Nashville General. So do they just enjoy this time they have now and then say good-bye? Or do they attempt to continue things long distance?

sexy

I loved this book. At first, I have to admit that I struggled a bit with Charlie. She seemed cold almost. And her all work mentality bothered me. But as I got to know her and found out what happened, it all made sense. She and Parker together were just magical. They really were made for each other and watching them slowly work their way back to each other was such a beautiful thing.

There were so many secondary characters that I hope to see in future books, one being Charlie’s friend, Tess. But, the next book, will be Jonah and Natalie’s story in Better Than Me. I can’t wait.

Kimberly Kincaid launches her Remington Medical series with “Back To You”, a tale of Parker Drake who is determined to become a doctor and surgeon Charleston (Charlie) Becker.

When her life crumbled six years ago, Charlie left North Carolina and has been working nonstop ever since. But when her best friend Tess needs to take some time off for the birth of her baby, Charlie steps in to fill in the ER. She soon realizes that being back won’t just bring back old memories, she’ll also have to face her ex-husband.

Parker knows he’ll have to work hard and follow all the rules in order to successfully finish his second chance as an intern. But working under the woman he never got over will test all his resolve. As Charlie and Parker face the emergency department’s intense unrest, old feelings resurface and the two cannot deny the still existing attraction between them. Being open and honest helps them understand and forgive each other, but that’s not enough to overcome the obstacles they’re faced with this second time around.

Bad boys in romance are decidedly enjoyable, and Kimberly Kincaid offers a fresh and appealing take on the theme. Parker Drake is the best kind of rebel: a man intent on saving lives no matter the risk or the rules he needs to break to save them and Charlie is his perfect counterbalance.

There are moments where the medical jargon is a bit overwhelming, reminding me of TV shows like E.R. and Grey’s Anatomy, but the focus remains on Parker and Charlie’s romance, which is a treat to read.

Back To You is book #1 of the Remington Medical series by Kimberly Kincaid. It is told from both points of view, and has a happy ending.

Within the murky trope of second-chance stories, there are a few—with a lot of conditions attached, I must admit—that do work out for me.

Kimberly Kincaid’s ‘Back To You’ quite bravely tackles this as the full story behind Charlie’s and Parker’s past slowly unfolded in the midst of all the medical drama (think Grey’s anatomy, ER, House and a boatload of other shows like these) that made Remington Med come alive.

So some of the medical procedures and conditions made me squirm. But aside from the pleasant surprise from the rest of the Station Seventeen crew who made themselves seen and heard, I thought Kincaid’s new secondary characters were generally well-inserted and fleshed out the Parker/Charlie’s story quite nicely in a micro-world-building of sorts—enough at least, to make this a solid establishing read.

There’s nary a dull moment from start to finish: from the frenzied rush of the daily cases at the hospital, to the human drama that inevitably comes with it. Parker and Charlie find themselves in the unfortunate posts of intern and attending while rediscovering the spark they both thought had long gone.

And having understood both their positions, it was hard I guess, to shift the blame on either of them for their divorce considering the circumstances that surrounded it and their clashing personalities even though it’d initially seemed as though circumstances favoured Charlie’s side of the story. Instead, I found Parker an intriguing mix of reckless, compassionate and emotionally open...an all-in protagonist that grew on me like a weed.

By and large, I did like how their journey went from hostility to reconciliation to wanting to be with each other seriously again, so there aren’t many complaints from me here. (No mention of either’s dating history in the intervening years apart made me an even happier reader, somehow)

So in short, ‘Back To You’ is a pretty good start to a new series…that the crew from Station Seventeen play peripheral roles here is an additional treat I didn’t expect.

One of my absolute favorite reads is second-chance romance! And I absolutely loved Back to You!

Parker and Charlie have quite the past. They were classmates, friends, lovers, and married until a tragedy pulled them apart six years ago. And they haven’t seen or spoken since.

Until Fate intervenes. Suddenly, they’re now student and teacher.

Charlie is an amazing surgeon who’s made a life and a name for herself during this time. Sure, she doesn’t have much of a social life, but work has always been her driving force. And now that Parker is back in the picture, she’s certainly not going to let him derail her career.

And Parker just wants another chance at the career he’s wanted since he was a kid. He’s always wanted to be a doctor and this opportunity—this second chance—is going to do just that. He’s not giving up on his dream—not after all he’s sacrificed to get to this point. And he’s not going to let a little something like his attraction to his ex-wife derail him.

Gah, I absolutely loved Parker and Charlie’s romance. They had so much history to work through, so much to discuss to move on at last. And so much to rediscover too. I loved watching them rekindle their love. To find a way back to each other—even though so much was working against them too! I loved my time spent with the Remington Medical team and loved catching up with some of my favs from Station Seventeen. Next is Jonah and Natalie and I cannot wait! ~ Missy, 5 stars

I loved this! Once I started reading I did NOT want to put this book down. This is a second chance story and a workplace romance. It's emotional, it's sexy, it's perfect!
Six years ago Charlie and Parker were interns at Remington Memorial. They fell in love, got married and then everything fell apart. Parker left and they hadn't seen each since. Now Parker has returned to finish his internship on the same day Charlie returns to fill in for a friend.
Charlie is a smart, sassy heroine and Parker is a super hot hero with a huge heart. These two had amazing chemistry but their relationship was so much more than just their crazy attraction (which seriously was intense!). As they reconnected I loved seeing their trust and respect for each other grow.
I really loved the hospital setting and all the secondary characters. I am so excited for this new series and I can't wait for more stories about the Remington Memorial doctors!

I don’t normally read medical books because I work in the medical field and find that the “medical” stuff isn’t very accurate which takes away from the story for me. This book was an exception, the medical aspects were accurately described and the terminology was correct. I loved Parker and Charlie’s story. I loved the chemistry between them and the obstacles they endured were realistic. This was my first book by Kimberly Kincaid but certainly not my last.

Well, Ms. Kinkaid's little venture away from Station 17 has really paid off. A hot, sexy intern and a Doctor who really has her act together makes for an fascinating and fun read. Oh, did I mention that they were once married? Things get really interesting inside Remington and even hotter outside.

Right from the beginning I knew that I was going to have a good time reading this story. Charlie was an intense, serious woman who really didn't want to be back at Remington. Parker was determined to finish what he started six years ago. What neither one of them knew was that they were going to be thrown together the minute the doors opened. Charlie was convinced he would fail, again. Parker was determined to make it through. Then came the determination to get his Charlie back in his arms, his bed and his life … this time forever.

It was rough watching both Charlie and Parker relive the most terrible time of both of their lives. But, it was something that had to be faced. It was both heartbreaking and exhilarating reading about their time together. I loved how we were brought into their world and were able to both grieve and rejoice with them. The story was beautifully written from both of their perspectives. You understood Charlies's perspective and honestly felt bad for Parker. The secondary characters all played prominent roles in moving the story forward and were wonderful.

Kimberly Kincaid brought heart and soul to her characters that really made me fall in love with them. This second chance story had a little bit of everything for everyone … heartache to joy, distrust to trust, disappointment to love. It ran the gamut on emotions and Kimberly Kincaid did a beautiful job bringing them all to life.

Parker is very good on his girl's ego, “that was, by far, the hottest effing thing I have ever seen in my life,” he murmured, and Charlie didn’t care who heard her laugh in reply." I liked this book, I loved Parker he was so sweet.

Finished in a less than 24 hours. Why? Because this book is pretty awesome.

I don’t have a long review to give, I just loved this book. I loved the characters, the humorous dialogue, the complexity of emotion, and of course, the medical setting.

Lovely!

Readers! I am so excited that bad-boy paramedic Parker Drake is finally getting his HEA! If you've read my Station Seventeen series, you'll recognize him (especially from IN TOO DEEP), but if not, don't worry! This story is a complete standalone. It's a doozy, too--Parker's back in medical school, and his temporary supervisor is his ex-wife! This might just be one of the most emotional (and sexy! The chemistry between these two, OMG) books I've ever written. I hope you enjoy it!

I loved this first book in Kimberly Kincaid's new Remington Medical contemporary romance series. It's brimming with deep emotion, complex relationships, and steamy romance, all set within the controlled chaos of the Remington Medical Emergency Department. Kincaid pulled me into the story from the first pages and held me spellbound until the very end.

I felt an immediate connection with Parker and Charlie and couldn't wait to see what Kincaid had in store for them. I love how she tells their stories - what happened six years ago and what's occurring now - with flashbacks during the first part of the book. It gives readers a much better understanding of the deep love and commitment that was once between them and how they came to be in the adversarial position where they now reside. I also appreciate the care and time she takes with their present journey. There are no easy fixes with this couple and, given what they went through, there shouldn't be. Their bodies recognize first what their hearts are slower to accept which leads to some steamy encounters along the way. Let me just say, Kimberly Kincaid knows her way around steamy encounters! There are a lot of sexy scenes in this book but they all feel organic, never gratuitous, and they all lead to the happily ever after this couple so richly deserves.

Kincaid surrounds Charlie and Parker with a fascinating group of secondary characters and plenty simmering drama to boost my excitement for this series. I already have my favorites and can't wait to see what's in store for them in future books.

If you're a fan of shows like Grey's Anatomy, if you enjoy second-chances, both in life and love, if you want your books to snap, sizzle and introduce you to intriguing characters who will take you on an emotional journey, then I highly recommend Kimberly Kincaid's Back to You.

I really enjoyed the start of this new Remington Medical series . I always look at the authenticity of characters, how believable they are. Back to You has characters who have problems and successes like anyone else.  Parker and Charlie get a second chance at romance, although I'm not sure either one ever left the first chance, even though they hadn't seen each other for six years. With people spending so much time working, it is highly likely there will be workplace romances.

The setting is the same world as the Station Seventeen series .  Parker is briefly in those stories. I don't think you need to read them, but I am glad I did. I always enjoy the connection. Parker definitely had the support of his EMT and firefighter co-workers and there is nothing better in the world. It helped him as he worked through issues and made his way to the life he wanted.

Parker and Charlie have differing emotional approaches to life problems, which added significantly to their break.  If they had known and understood each other better, it would have been possible to stay together. However, it took their new work proximity to cause the final personal growth they each needed.  The required professionalism in the work environment also gave them practice at tempering their emotions and acting reasonably.

I loved this new part of the world and can't wait for Better Than Me which is expected May 7, 2019.

Of all the ways Parker Drake had envisioned his first day as an intern, witnessing a sedan-versus-bike messenger that resulted in an open tib-fib before he’d even walked through the hospital doors hadn’t been in the top one thousand.

Being face to drop-jawed stare with the one woman he’d been certain he’d never lay eyes on again, and who probably hated him as passionately as he’d once loved her?

Had to be a one in a million.

The man in his arms groaned in pain, snapping time back into motion and Parker back to reality in less than a heartbeat.

“I need a little help over here,” Parker called out, and fucking great, Tess was here, too?

“What happened?” Charlie asked as Tess hollered for a gurney and a C-collar, both of which arrived astonishingly fast.

Parker blinked, his brain momentarily too swamped with adrenaline to form a reply. Focus. On something other than how the hell Charlie is here in front of you instead of far, far away in Nashville. Now would be good, since you’re holding a guy whose tibia is sticking out of his skin.

Well, that did the trick to redirect his thoughts from her, at least temporarily. Then again, work always did. “Mike Yoshida, got clipped by a Camry while riding his bike,” Parker said, placing the man on the gurney and diving right in to the bullet. “Obvious right lower leg deformity, GCS 12. No apparent head or neck trauma, no LOC.” The guy’s helmet was still firmly in place. Not that it had done his leg a lick of good, but at least that would be a hell of a lot easier to repair.

“Hi, Mr. Yoshida, I’m Dr. Michaelson, and this is Dr. Becker,” Tess said, but only after she’d shot a micro-frown in Parker’s direction that promised nothing good once their patient was stable. “We’re going to take care of you, okay?”
“O-okay.” He tried to nod, but Tess placed her hands firmly over the sides of his helmet to keep him still as Charlie grabbed the C-collar.

“Dr. Becker and I are going to put this around your neck. I know it’s not super comfortable, but we have to err on the side of caution until we can get a closer look at your spine.”

Charlie, who was in street clothes, and Tess, who wasn’t, had both gloved up to examine the man while a nurse guided the gurney past the automatic doors and into a curtain area.

“You didn’t think to call a paramedic instead of dragging him in here on your own?” Charlie asked, her red-gold brows pulled low in disapproval, as Tess continued her rapid trauma assessment on the patient.

Parker took a deep breath and reminded himself that he deserved every degree of chilliness Charlie wanted to offer. “I am a paramedic. Or I was for five years. Anyway”—he grabbed a pair of nitrile gloves from the dispenser box on the wall and slid them into place—“the accident happened less than a block away. Calling an ambo would’ve been stupid.”

Dropping her voice enough to keep it from the patient while Tess asked him a few more questions and examined his leg, Charlie said, “He was in an MVA, and you moved him without a C-collar. That is stupid.”

Back to You is Book One in a brand new series set around Remington Medical, by Kimberly Kincaid. I am a big fan of all things Kimberly Kincaid and have been so excited about this new series.

My attention was immediately grabbed from page one with the story of Parker and Charlie. She and Parker together were undeniably perfect together. They’re story is a complex but an extremely emotional one and watching them slowly work their way back to each other was beautiful.

This second chance romance had everything I look for in this particular trope. Super sexy chemistry, emotional and heartfelt moments, and the satisfying reunion I wanted from the very first page. The plot is engaging and the action is non-stop. The main characters are complex and likable, as are the side characters, who I foresee will have their own stories in the near future. I loved every moment of Back to You and can't wait to see where Kimberly Kincaid takes us next with the Remington Medical series.

“No matter what, I’ll always come back to you.”

Back to You is the first installment in Kimberly Kincaid’s brand new series, Remington Medical. It combined an exciting, hot, well-plotted second-chance contemporary romance with hospital drama and I couldn’t get enough! This is actually the first book I’ve ever read by Kimberly but it’s already not the last, as not wanting to let the magic of her writing go, I picked up one of her Pine Mountain books and inhaled it right after.

Six years ago, Charleston “Charlie” Becker’s life fell apart while she was a medical intern at Remington Memorial Hospital in North Carolina. In her mind, she has recovered. She moved to Nashville and became a successful surgeon at Nashville General Hospital where her life revolves around work. But, when her best friend, Tess, who is a surgeon at Remington needs Charlie to fill in for her for ten weeks while she’s out on maternity leave, Charlie can't say no.

Six years ago, Parker Drake was an intern at Remington Memorial. But, his lifelong dream was put on hold when Parker left the program and became a paramedic. He’s an excellent paramedic, but he has a reputation of bending the rules when it suits him. Even though he loves being a paramedic, he still dreams of becoming a doctor and Remington Memorial has agreed to give him one more chance. On his first day back, he encounters a woman doctor who he thought he’d never see again – his Charlie.

Charlie and Parker have not spoken for six years. Now, they are forced to work together every day. The amazing chemistry they shared so long ago is still sizzling. IF Dr. Langston, the chief of staff, finds out about their past connection and present relationship, Charlie would be fired letting Tess down and Parker would lose his last chance to be a doctor. So, their relationship is hush-hush. Can they work through their past issues? Or, do they just enjoy this moment in time and go their separate ways? Or, do they commit to a long-distance relationship? Or , …???

I loved, loved, loved these two! Charlie is smart and caring and Parker is super sweet and smoking hot. They were magical together and there can be no doubt they were made for each other. Their sexy bantering steamed up my world! You will need an ice cold drink with a high velocity fan running under a cold a/c while reading. I couldn’t get enough of them as they reconnected and started to learn to trust in each other and their relationship. The hospital setting was fascinating along with the textbook medical cases. The secondary characters were fabulous and each deserves their own stories.

There were so many luscious lines in Back to You that it was hard to hone it down to just a few… but, I did my best:

“You’re actually reading that?” she asked, her auburn brows lifted at the sight of the romance novel Connor had given him this morning, sitting next to the medical textbook he’d propped open to the section on vertical mattress stitches.
Parker nodded. “Of course I’m reading it. How else am I going to find out if Michaela and Trent can outwit the creepy bad guy so they can give each other a lifetime supply of preternaturally incredible orgasms?”
---
“If we don’t get in your car and start driving, right now, I’m going to be tempted to take you into that alcove, right over there” – he paused to turn his chin toward the small, bricked archway leading up to the bakery’s side door, cloaked by just enough shadow to keep it hidden to anyone passing by on the street – “undo this infernal sweater of yours, and put my mouth on you until you come so hard, you can’t stand up. So, please. Can we get out of here?”
“Mmm.” Charlie arched against him for just a split second before using the leverage of her hands on his shoulders to swing him around. But rather than head toward her car, now a dozen paces from where they stood on the sidewalk, she turned in the other direction, away from the street.
“Where are you going?” Parked asked, his confusion turning to shock a beat later as her destination became clear.
Charlie paused in front of the archway leading into the shadows. “I’ve been dying for you to make me come all night,” she said over one shoulder, a sweetly wicked gleam in her eyes. “If you think I’m going to turn down a promise like that, you’re out of your mind.”
---
“We might just have one night, but we have all night. I don’t plan to waste any of it sleeping.”

Once I started reading this, it was impossible to put down. It’s emotional, sexy, fascinating and pure perfection! Let there be no doubt that I’ll be picking up “orgasm whisperer” Jonah Sheridan’s and Natalie Kendrick’s friends-to-lovers tale in Better Than Me coming in May! I can’t wait!

The research that's gone into writing this exceptional romance is awe inspiring. The story floats above a foundation of such detail you, the reader, will lose yourself in another world. The emotion packed interactions, along with the interplay between leading and supporting characters makes this a page turner extraordinaire.

The book's description gives you a taste of what the story is about without giving away too much.

Easily worth more than the 5 stars I have rated - but it seems I can't give any more.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

ARC REVIEW

This is the first book for Kimberly Kincaid's newest series in the same world as her previous Station Seventeen series. I love it when author do that, instead of one giant series a whole bunch all independent of each other but still interconnected. I love second chance romance stories and Parker and Charlie have a doozy of a history.
This is an emotional story about forgiveness, second chances, and taking a chance when you know it's worth the risk. I loved Parker and Charlie they balanced each other out well, Parker is a risk taker and a rule breaker while Charlie is straightlaced and by the book. This was a great introduction to the series and the other characters and I can't wait for Jonah's book.
Overall, it was a quick and easy read, very emotional. It was well paced and steamy hot in all the right places. If you haven't picked up Kimberly Kincaid before this is a great book to start at.

Charleston “Charlie” Becker left town 6 years ago after a rushed marriage ends in disaster. The only reason she returns now is to help her friend while she is on maternity leave for 10 weeks. A few short months at Remington Memorial and she can get back to her own life in a whole different city. A new group of interns coming in throws her for a loop, her past is staring her right in the face and she isn’t sure she can handle it.

Parker Drake left his internship 6 years ago after his life hit the skids. He begged, borrowed and stole to get another chance at an internship, never expecting it would be at his previous hospital. Running late for his first day, after helping an accident victim, he finds himself face to face with his past. And even though she was looking at him with daggers in her eyes, she’d never looked so beautiful.

Charlie and Parker have quite a history between them but they do their best to make sure it stays between them and not the whole internship program. Parker still has the skills he possessed 6 years ago, working as a paramedic helped hone them as well. Charlie has little doubt that he will be a great doctor, can she stay objective given their past?

A great second chance love story, and with a honesty policy in place between the ex-spouses, their second chance has more promise than most. The first in the new Remington Medical series, Back to You is a great start to get us prepped for all the shenanigans waiting for us at Remington Memorial. I received an advance copy of this 4½ star read without expectation for review. Any and all opinions expressed are my own.

This book is a second chance romance that was fantastically done! I love this genre but sometimes the reuniting can be fast, and they tend to brush over the past Hurts. However, this is not the case with Kimberly’s newest read. Charlie and Parker were explosive once but then IT happened. They haven’t seen each other in years and Charlie never wanted to see him again. She has moved on and up and has a good life. This is a romance novel so y’all know they meet again and find that there are still feelings there. What I liked though was that They don’t fall right back into bed, they don’t pretend all is normal. There is pain and hurt that needed to be fixed and, in this book, you see the reality of how that works. Charlie and Parker are fantastic people separate and eventually they are even better as a team. I truly LOVE book one in this new series and can’t wait to read the next one! So, grab/pre-order this one today!

On Charlotte's first day of covering her friend's maternity leave, her past comes face to face with her present - in the form of her ex, now an intern at HER hospital. What's a surgeon to do?!

Well, in Charlotte's case, at first, she gets all cold and boss-like and tries to ignore the fact that one of her interns is her ex. But Parker's not about to let Charlotte go now that he's got her in his sights again. His ex, the one he let go, walked from 6 years ago. But, he's got a lot of groveling and working to do if he plans on winning over Charlotte, because she's just as determined to stay away from him, even though her heart is begging her to give him a second chance.

I have to admit that medical based stories are not normally something I'm into, but Parker and Charlotte won me over with their palpable chemistry, with the love that had never disappeared. Their chemistry was undeniable, and it was so enjoyable reading these two fall back into each other. I am so looking forward to more of this series, and more from this author.

Remington Medical just got hotter😍

We met Parker when he was Quinn’s paramedic partner in Station Seventeen and lived through his injury which brought Quinn and Luke together! Parker decided after his injury that he was going to reapply to become a doctor, as that is his life long dream. When he shows up to the ER with a patient he’s helped, he quickly discovers his ex-wife is also at the same hospital, even though he hasn’t seen her in more than six years.

Charlie is back at Remington Medical where she is helping out her bestie, while she’s on maternity leave, running the ER. But on her first day, she sees Parker, her ex-husband and discovers he’s an intern yet again and she’s his attending. Oh dear😜

I loved this story as it was another addition to some of my favourite characters and also nice to catch up with a few of them again too❣️Looking forward to getting stuck into Jonah’s story next😀

Back to You is a wonderful second-chance romance written by author Kimberly Kincaid. The tense yet wanting story of intern Parker Drake and surgeon Charlie Becker. In this first book of the Remington Medical Series, Parker gets his second chance to reconnect with Charlie, and they get a chance to understand what happened to them in their marriage and the heartbreak that followed. Unfortunately, she is now his superior/teacher at the hospital so things aren’t able to progress, as that would put his “last chance internship” at risk.

This story has secrets…do those ever turn out well? There is heartbreak, love, heat, humor, friendship, wonderful characters…it has it all! I would easily recommend this one! 5 stars!

I read an ARC copy of this.

Overall this was a good read. It would have been better if it had spent less time with all the medical stuff and focused more on the romance. However, it was still enjoyable. Charlie is covering for her friend while she is on maternity leave. She is left to deal with the interns. Of course one of them is her ex Parker. Most of the time they are working on patients but their free time is spent with each other. No matter how hard Charlie tried to fight it we all knew in the end they would be together.

Good story.
Very detailed in medical speel and incidents.
Divorced couple.
Married quickly due to unplanned pregnancy then miscarriage, divorce.
Flashbacks.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
HEA.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series.

The medical intensity of this book is not really my thing, it's certainly not written like a Harlequin novel.
