About this ebook

It took one night with her to know she was my forever.
It took one minute for me to climb out of bed and drive away from her.
It’s taken me three years to confess that leaving her behind was the biggest mistake of my life.

I won’t stop until she knows what she means to me. I’ll convince her to listen to her heart.

It took one night for all of my dreams to come true.
It took one morning, waking up alone, for those same dreams to come crashing down around me.
It’s taken me three years to confess that night changed me forever.

He says this time is different, but how do I open my heart up to a man who’s already ripped it to shreds?

Five mesmerizing stars! Review by Angelique Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog There’s butterflies-in-the-stomach kind of books, ugly-cry kind of books, and then there’s Remedy by Kaylee Ryan. This book wholeheartedly deserves to fall under the stars in your eyes kind of books. In her latest release, Remedy, Kaylee Ryan introduces us to Grady and Collins. Grady is freshly graduated and on his way to becoming a full-time doctor and Collins is already a full-time nurse. “She’s real, she’s my heart and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” These two have an unconventional connection as Grady is Collins’ older brother’s best friend and as rules go, the possibility of anything is a definite no-go. Not to mention, crushing on someone isn’t all that serious and if you are the younger sister it’s almost a rite of passage to have a crush on your brother’s best friend. Their story starts off with a bang and there’s not a moment in the entirety of this book that doesn’t keep your attention. It is filled with emotion, beauty and a determination that will quite literally have you in tears-the good kind. Grady is sweet and gentle and is very eager to get what he wants even if it takes a lifetime of trying. It is impossible not to root for him to get there. Collins has all the reason in the world to not just jump into something. She’s scared it would turn out like the first time but, with time, she too sees that maybe there is so much more if you just let the past stay where it should. There is always a risk involved when you follow your heart, whether it be outside forces or your closest friends, but in the end, things have a way of working out the way it is supposed to. “I told her she was my remedy, but now I see that I was hers as well.” Kaylee Ryan has a way of capturing your attention with her unique characters and telling their stories that will leave you wanting and needing more.

Remedy is a second chance romance, unlike any other I've read. I mean, I really didn't want to like Grady. The choices he made not only made him miserable, but also Collins. Their story could have very easily been one of sorrow, with no HEA, all because he made a bad decision, one he regretted immediately. But as the story continued, I began to see where he was coming from, and why he made those decisions. And, grudgingly, I began to see Grady less as a villainous ex, and more as the determined male he really is. Collins, at first impression, is a good girl. The girl next door, who has a crush on her older brother's best friend. But as you get further into the story, you see that she is really a deeper character than that. She has been crushed by a man, and didn't really have any answers as to why. And when he shows back up in their hometown, she tries to stay away from him, to avoid further heartache, even though she still has the same strong feelings for him. She is also a very strong woman. She took a childhood tragedy that made an impression on her, and turned it into a career that will help others. Grady isn't what he appears to be at first glance. He is determined, and patient. He knows what he wants, knows what he did wrong, and isn't opposed to begging for forgiveness. There's so much more to him than I first thought! This story has so many elements to love! I love second chance romances. I love brothers best friend romances. I love insta love. This book was everything all rolled in to one! In the end, I couldn't help but love Grady. I didn't think I would, but I did! His persistence and patience won me over. This book is a definite must read, and one that will be going on my re-read list!

So many emotions going on right now that it's hard to put into words how much I love this book. Grady and Collins show everyone just how perfect it can be. Grady and Collins have a past that could create issues for lots of people. How things started out for them want wrong by any means, but I get the hesitation. I really do. But of course, the drama in books are mostly drawn up by a lack of communication, and this book is no different. I'm not getting into the issues as that will give a lot of the book away, but it's definitely worth reading. I voluntarily reviewed this book from the author. I truly would read any book from her, but I'm so glad I was able to read this now, because it's a must read!
