Wonderful and truly heart wrenching.
First I would say this book deals heavily with addiction and veteran related PTSD I really appreciated the attention,paid to detail of the character Drake’s PTSD. And the effort to express the horrors that our military men and women suffer ,and the time and effort it takes to heal from those invisible wounds.
The subject of addiction is a sensitive one and Jennifer Ryan deals with it so well.
This book draws in the reader and book is nicely written and is a great story.It hits right in the feels. I would recommend it to a friend.
Tough Talking Cowboy
This book had me on the edge of my seat. It is so beautifully written. Ms. Ryan helped us understand what our brave military men/women go through with PTSD. But with the help of a supporting family, therapists, Doctors and the love of a good women anything is possible. Adria needed Drake’s love and support as much as he needed her. Together a powerful love grew.
