St. George’s Distillery Founded in Thetford, Norfolk in 2006 as The English Whisky Company by a father and son team of James and Andrew Nelstrop and was the first English distillery for over a hundred years. The whisky is released as chapters with 1-4 being the young and not yet legally called Whisky and Chapter 5, a 3 year old was released in December 2009. Since then there have been many more chapters of small batch or single cask editions from un-peated to heavily peated, Bourbon cask, Sherry cask, Madeira, Rum cask and even a triple distilled edition.
