Biker Turned Ranch Hand?!
Sean knew he had to leave his MC before things really came back on him. With his brother Kyle being the Prez of the Loyal Rebels MC he knew as the VP that he had a lot to answer for especially not following his Prez's orders. Sean thought this was the perfect time to seek out his ex-Marine commanding officer and buddy to get his head straight. There was a problem with that though because when he showed up at the ranch he found out Trent was shot in the back and his daughter, Beth, was looking for the person who took her father's life.
Sean and Beth both felt a connection so Sean was going to stay at the ranch and help Beth with the ranch work until he figured out who was killing all the guys from his Marine unit.
Beth was a great female lead with her strong will and was a hard working beauty. Sean was a great protector of Beth and his brothers as well. This book took a lot of twists and turns while giving me the slow build and steam of Sean and Beth. It was the suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. Now I can't wait to see what's next for the MacKenny brothers.

Sean discovers more leads into his friends death which jeopardizes the safety of many.

This book basically continues on from where book one, Spark, left off and I love that it goes straight on with the MacKenny brother’s story. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book where the spunky Maddock was introduced and loved meeting all of the brothers. Sean intrigued me straight away, so you could say I am one very happy reader, to put it mildly.
Sean MacKenny is the VP of the Loyal Rebels MC and after disobeying his president and blood brother, Kyle, he goes ‘walkabout’ or takes off to clear his head and sort himself out. Hoping a stay with his ex commanding officer and confidant, Thomas Trent, will do the trick he finds more bad news on Thomas’ ranch. But once a Marine, always a Marine and he sticks around to help out Thomas’ only surviving child.
Thomas’ daughter, Beth, is the leading female and what a fabulous character she is too. I loved her sassy mouth, strong will and determination. She’s a hard worker and not afraid to defend those she supports and loves. Sean-we gradually see a change in him, for the better I feel. He is more settled and willing to trust an outsider. But as I said earlier, I really liked his character in book one, sure he can be annoying but hey-he’s a male. 😜 As a couple Sean and Beth learn from each other while they explore a possible relationship.
The drama and action in this story is pretty much all the way through the story, making it very exciting. At times you find yourself on the edge of your seat with worry for various characters but more you totally feel like you’re a part of the scenes. This is a fast paced book and very easy to read, my only problem was I wanted more by the time I had finished! That epilogue truly peaked my interest for book three! Holy moly, bring it on!

When Sean, a man who served with her father in the Marines, comes to visit her father and wants to help she isn’t about to say no.
Ruled by emotion when Sean decides to take the MC matters into his own hands even though he was told not to he knows that there will be consequences. His former Marine teammate has never led him wrong but when he finds out he has been shot there is nothing he won’t do to not only uncover the truth but protect his daughter as well.
This story takes you on an action packed adventure filled with heat, intrigue and surprises as Beth and Sean may not only find the answers they need but each other as well.

Could not put this one down!
It manages to pack:

Beth and Sean
What I love about reading MC is the family vibe and how they have your back, it’s the same with the Mckenny family. This unfortunately is not a happy beginning. Sean’s seeking out his old commander only to learn he has since been murdered. He meets up with his daughter Beth, who is understandably a mess. She want revenge. This story is not simple far from it. Twist and turns. I loved reading about all the brothers, what a great family. I liked Sean and Beth story, things always happen for a reason. Bring on Kyle and Lola’s story I’m ready.

Another awesome book by this fabulous author!! She is so creative, I would’ve never thought a biker would it become a ranchhand but she does it flawlessly. Sean is the VP of his MC and also a former soldier. When he goes to meet his former Marine buddy he where he meets Beth. She is left on her own after her father was murdered. His protective instincts come out and all Sean wants to do is protect her and find out who murdered his former buddy. Can Beth finally find answers with Sean’s help?

Sean MacKenny is the VP of the Loyal Rebels MC. The MC lead by his older brother Kyle. After finding out about the man who took his brother Maddox and sister from him, his enraged soul needed revenge defying his Prez. Needing time to come to terms of all that had happened over the last month, Sean hits the road hoping to talk to his former Marine buddy who always had a knack for setting his head straight. Instead he finds that he has been murdered and his daughter Beth is in need of help at the ranch. Messages are mixed between Sean and Beth who both are harboring feelings for one another, but when Sean disappears and his MC shows up Beth refuses to stay back. Can two lost souls help each other navigate what happens next or are they doomed to fail?
This one was a bit of a slow burn. I liked it but Sean was a bit of a conundrum he was such a charmer in the first book but I did not see that as much in this one. I like where this series is going though. Will pick up the next book to see where the story leads.

Another fabulous book by author Kathleen Kelly. Sean is ex-military and the VP for the Loyal Rebels MC. After disobeying his brother and president to avenge a loss he takes off to seek council from his former sergeant.
Beth Trent is an only child, left to take care of the family ranch after her father is killed. Beth thinks she knows who is responsible, but law enforcement says the trail is dead. She’s angry and in need of help. She can’t believe how trusting she is of Sean when he turns up on her doorstep offering to lend a hand.
This story is full of twists. It’s action packed and a exciting read. Sean is your typical alpha male and sexy as hell. Beth is strong and won’t be pushed around. Great combination. 5 stars.

Someone is murdering Sean’s Marine group - Action packed contemporary romance
This is the 2nd story of the MacKenny Brothers series and I DO NOT CONSIDER this to be a stand-alone read as there are reoccurring characters, a consecutive timeline and overarching themes. For maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers, I highly recommend these be read in series order.
Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, adult steamy intimate scenes and violence such as kidnapping / abduction, torture, assault, fighting with some to the death, murder, etc.
Warning: if you have not read the previous story, the following may contain spoilers.
Last chance …
There are a few grammatical issues including extra inserted words, typos (m,ugs), incorrect tense changes mid sentence or incorrect word choice (has vs as), etc. Fortunately they were easy to interpret, so I didn’t feel the need to lower the rating, but further editing is needed.
The storyline is strong, with well developed characters that have a strong moral code and are not afraid to do what is necessary to achieve justice.
Sean, the VP of the MC ran by his brother Kyle, and Beth Trent, the daughter of his former Marine Sergeant, are the focus of this story. Sean travels to his former Sergeant’s ranch and finds out when he arrives in town that he has died. After speaking with Beth, he quickly learns that his friend has been murdered and she needs help.
Sean agrees to help out with the ranch for room, board and meals. Plus he needs to get his head on straight after what happened with the man that killed his sister and caused his brother Maddock (1st book in the series) to miss out on three years with his family. He also feels compelled to stay and protect her, even though it is clear she can take care of herself. Then his younger brother shows up and he realizes that an up and coming politician is some how connected and he needs to get away from Beth for her protection …
Can Sean and Beth figure out what is happening to his former group before they get him or Scope (the only other surviving member who may or may not be involved)? Can they get justice against whomever murdered her father? Could it be the man wanting to buy her ranch, her former lover?

I don't believe I'll ever get enough of these super sexy MacKenny brothers as long as I live. I know I won't EVER NOT ONCE get enough of the brilliant Kathleen Kelly's stories no matter what she writes about because there's just something so special about her that I'm fully addicted. Sean MacKenny is the VP of the Loyal Rebels MC, but he needs some space to get his head on straight before his brother, the President of said MC, got a hold of him after going rogue on something that I'm not giving away. He goes to see one of his marine brothers, Thomas Trent, since Thomas always helped him get his head on straight, but when he got there, he learned that Thomas had been murdered so he decided to stay to help his daughter, Beth, and he was drawn to her. As he started to help her around the ranch, things came to light that had him leaving one day, and it took Beth & a couple of his brothers to figure out where he was & what he was doing. Obviously, this means there are a ton of twists that had me dropping so loud many f-bombs that I thought I was going to lose my voice. It's when they're on this particular leg of the journey, their chemistry wouldn't be denied any longer leading to a HUGE hotness factor! There are a lot of things which need to be figured out so how will this all pan out at the end of the day?! You'll have to hit those one click buttons to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sean & Beth
Sean did what he had to do. Unfortunately, it was against his brother's (also the President of his MC) orders. Instead of coming home, he went to a man who had always been able to help him work things out, only to find he'd been murdered. Now what? His daughter was trying to keep up the ranch by herself. The woman made him think things his dad would not have approved.
Beth was independent. Still, how was she supposed to keep up this ranch by herself? She couldn't find anyone to hire even if she could have afforded to pay him. When Sean showed up he may not look like a ranch hand but he'd do in a pinch and man would she like to pinch the hot guy.
The two weren't looking for a relationship and fought their feelings. Circumstances kept them together. Danger made him even more protective. For once a man made her feel protected even with her independent nature.
There is plenty of action, emotions, steam, family loyalty, along with a great story. I loved it. I did read book one and had to read more even though each story can stand completely alone. One of my favorite parts of the story was the MC brothers as well as his brothers by blood showing the bond few people experience. Don't miss this one.

I loved this book! It starts a little slow, but soon ramps up. It’s about two people who have been thur hell and back and are holding the pieces together with everything they have. They have been emotionally and physically drained to the point of no return.
Sean, needs to get his on straight again , so he goes to visit his old Marine Sargent. When he gets there he learns that his Sargent has been killed.
In the mean time, his daughter,Beth is holding on with everting she’s got. She’s hurting from the loss of her dad and from trying to run their ranch by herself.
When Sean and Beth meet, its awkward, but soon they as settled with each other.
Sean and his brothers, soon start to dig into why all of Sean’s Platoon has been killed. They figure it out and take care of it.
Beth and Sean are starting to have feelings for each other. They decide to give it a shot and fall in love.
Beth falls in to line with the rest of the Loyal Rebels old ladies, meaning she doesn’t take crap from no-one and knows how to protect what’s hers, just like her daddy taught her.

I absolutely love this book.
I was pulled into it right from the start and stayed there watching it play out in my head until I had read the last word.
There are some really great surprises in this book, I never saw them coming, but I enjoyed reading them. There are twists and turns throughout, that all help to make the story brilliant.
The emotions that the characters go through, can be felt and I went through them at the same time as the characters. There were a couple of times I wanted to knock heads against a brick wall, but all was well in the end and the character redeemed themselves.
I have never read a book by Kathleen Kelly that I have not enjoyed, I do have to admit she is one of my favourite authors and one I always one click. If you've never read a book by her you should give her a go, I don't think you will regret it.
I highly recommend this book, it is so worth the rating I have given it.

This is the second book in this series. They are better read in order. Sean disobeyed his brother and prez. Now he needs time to process. His head is all over the place. He goes to visit his old commanding officer only to learn he has died. He meets his commander’s daughter Beth. She tells him that her father was murdered. Things get even more interesting when he learns the only people left from his unit are him and one other person. Now they have to figure out who is after his unit and stop them. Beth and Sean spend a few days together and start to form a connection. Will Sean be able to protect her from who ever is after him? This book was a fantastic read I was hooked from the start. Sean and Beth are great characters. Really all the characters are great. I loved getting so read about the other guys again. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I have it pre-ordered already. Fantastic job Kathleen.

Been looking forward to reading this book ever since I finished Spark last year. Every single MacKenny brother intrigues me in their own way, but Sean annoyed in the first book, so will be interesting to see how he redeems himself. I'm also hoping we hear more about his military background that was hinted about in book one.
Book two picks up where book one left off, and straight away Sean's escape plans go awry. Will he still be able to hide away from his Pres? I struggled to connect with Beth as she's meeker than most of this authors normal characters, but was pleased to see her come out of her shell more and more.
The action builds up like a pressure cooker that you know is going to explode, will Sean and his brothers be able avoid being casualties yet again? Watch as Sparks full of Vengeance fly.

Wow, this is really exciting, there's action, a corrupt politician, and a sniper. Sean Mackenny is trying to get his head straight and goes to see the only person he knows can help him, his old Sargeant Thomas Trent, when he gets to the town he finds out that Thomas has been killed, when he meets Beth, Thomas's daughter they have a connection and together they try to find who the shooter is and why, that's when they find out that someone is picking off everyone in Sean's unit and he's the only one left alive, for now. Of course a couple of the brothers turn up to help.
I am absolutely loving this series and I can't wait for Kyle and Lola's story which is up next.

Sean and Beth
I can say I enjoyed this book a bit more... I'm having a hard time with trying to grasp the correlative undertone of the MC.
Sean is the Mackenny family protector... after protecting his Brother Maddock and avenging his sister Heather he takes off to find some peace and clarity from his old Sgt ...only to find he has been Murdered. Beth the daughter of Sean's Sgt. Is spinning he Father dead, a farm she is trying to keep though she is not sure why as it holds so many bad memories. Sean wanting to find out what happens stay to help her as she has lost her last farm hand.... it was an awkward attraction at first but Beth is 100% perfect for Sean.
Good read over all.... interested to see wants next give the Kyle cliffhanger at the end!

Holy smokes! This is book two in the series. This book is fantastic! It is about Sean and Beth. They meet when Sean goes to clear his head. He goes to see his buddy from his team in the service. What he finds is her and a lot of trouble. Their bantering is full of sass and heat. Both are fiercely independent. Their chemistry will melt your kindle. I love the push/pull between them. I was rooting for them from the beginning! I was high fiving Beth when she gave his brothers what for! Check it out or yourself and see! A highly recommended read. You will love it! I sure did! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance copy of the book from the author. I can not wait for the next book in this series!

FANTASTIC!!! Kathleen is one of my favorite authors. She's amazing at what she does. Her words just flow with action, intrigue and plenty of steamy moments. Spark Of Vengeance is an incredible story. Sean MacKenny is the VP of his MC as well as a former soldier. He's tough, protective and oh so sexy. Beth is amazing. She's a strong woman, running her ranch alone ever since her father died. Together these two have great chemistry. I'm not going to tell you what happens. You'll need to read this one yourself. The storyline will have you quickly turning the pages to see what happens next. I loved this one and I know you will too.

Firstly, Cutter better get his book!!
I devoured this book like a woman eating the last pack of chocolate biscuits before the kids get home!
This book holds you captive from the beginning until
the very last page is turned and the chocolate crumbs are all gone.
The characters are relatable, loveable... and sooo damn HOT! The storyline is cleverly crafted with lots of ‘Oh heck no’ moments and a few, ‘never saw that coming’ ones. With action, intrigue, drama, heat, snark, and loyalty. These characters will quickly become your other family... you may even want to replace some of your current members ... jus sayin..
Can’t wait to see what’s next for these guys.

Absolutely loved this book and this series just keeps on impressing, with it's colorful characters, witty banter and intriguing story lines! Sean MacKenny needs some time to clear his head after some heavy stuff going down at home, so he goes off in search of his mentor and military buddy only to find out he was killed on his farm with no leads on who or why. Beth his buddy's daughter is managing the farm and the pair quickly find themselves embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse as Sean is being hunted by an unknown killer. Throw in an MC, Sean's blood brothers and you have an exciting and very entertaining story that will keep you on your toes!

Absolutely amazing! From the minute I picked this book up I couldn't put it down. My heart hurt for Sean and the loss him and his family have been through. Coming upon Beth when he needed to clear his head was the best thing to happen to him. I loved the banter between them and the sex holy cow hot, hot, hot. Beth has the right amount of sass and balls to keep him on his toes. I loved how she told told his brothers off and had his back like he had hers. I loved how she fit in with the other girls. I can't wait to see more of them in the future and seeing Sean as dad. I can't wait to read Kyle & Lola's story.

Awesome read!
This book grabbed me right from the beginning. There are quite a few twists that will keep you glued to the pages. The characters are incredible. I love Beth. She is feisty, can hang with the guys. She also knows how to put Sean in his place which is quite refreshing. With his brothers by his side Sean is trying to solve the deaths of his fellow Marines and find justice for them. When danger lurks around the corner Beth is right there to safe his life.
This was my first read by Kathleen Kelly and I am hooked. She is an amazing writer and I will definitely continue reading this series.

Spark of Vengeance has us riding with the MacKenny brothers in a suspense filled story that will have you on the edge of your seat and holding your breath. Sean and Beth have a connection but there are misunderstandings and surprises at every turn that have these two unsure of where they stand. As drama and chaos unfold, family will need to have their backs to ensure their safety. There is plenty of witty banter, heat and steam, angst, grit and heartfelt moments to have you holding on for the ride of your life. This second book in the series has the author capturing our attention with her words, the storyline and characters that steal our hearts.

I really really really liked this book!
Sean is the VP of his MC, he's also very protective of his family. Beth is independent, sassy and speaks her mind. I absolutely love Beth! I started this book and did not want to put it down! The characters were great and the story line was excellent? I can't wait to read all the brothers story, but I really want to hear about Cutter! I Can honestly say I was hooked on this book! Totally awesome! It's a page turner with suspense , some sexy bits and all the good stuff!

Spark of Vengeance is an incredibly great read. This story is full of excitement, tragedy, hope, love and fulfillment. It sparks on every emotion. Sean and Beth's journey happens quite by accident when Sean travels to see his friend and former Marine officer Thomas Trent. He gets there only to discover his friend has been killed. Instead he finds Thomas's daughter Beth and the two of them quickly develop a beautiful relationship. There's lots of trouble, twists and turns in store for them but they endure all of it as a team.

Great addition to the series
I counted down the moments for this book to come out and it was so good. Kathleen Kelly never disappoints. I seriously have loved all her books, but now my only objection is that I have to wait till December for Kyle and Lola’s book.
I love that Miss Kelly writes about strong women who are partners to their men and not just heroine’s that need to be saved by the heroes in the book. Sean and Beth were very strong characters and they complemented each other as they faced a common enemy.
Another five star book for this author ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
